Group Cycling computer tips
They're easy to use!
01/01/08: Every bike in the Group Cycling Studio has been equipped with computers that measure cadence, heart rate and duration.
Each computer has two buttons, the button on the left activates the light, the button on the right turns the computer on.
Turn on your computer
When you begin cycling, hit the button on the right and the display will come on.
Heart rate, Cadence and Duration
If you're wearing a heart rate strap, the top display shows your heart rate, the second row of numbers displays your cadence (or RPM of the pedals) and the numbers below that shows how long you've been riding since you turned your computer on.
What does this all mean?
Your instructor will be discussing cadence and heart rates as the class progresses, our hope is that these computers and the information you're given will help you move the the next level of fitness. Please don't hesitate to ask questions, we're here to help you have a fun and safe workout.
