Guest Information and Sanctuary Policies

All Guests of The Sanctuary are invited to enjoy our Relaxation Room, where you are welcome to linger before or after your spa treatments. The Relaxation Room features complimentary tea and fruit infused water. We recommend that you drink non-alcoholic, decaffeinated beverages before and after spa services, and that you drink plenty of water to provide your body with adequate hydration.

Sanctuary Policies

• If you are not a Bay Club Marin member, a credit card number will be required to hold your reservation.
• If you are a first-time Guest, please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete a short questionnaire.
• Late arrivals will receive treatment for the time remaining in the appointment; however, the service will be charged at full value. All treatments will end on time to ensure that the following Guest's appointment can begin promptly.
• Gratuities are a matter of personal discretion and should reflect your level of satisfaction with our services. Customary percentage is 15%-20% per service.
• In consideration of other Guests, we ask that all cellular phones and pagers be turned off.
• To ensure a quiet and relaxing spa environment, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in any spa service area.

The Sanctuary is a full-service spa; Guests have access to the relaxation room, locker room, steam room, sauna and showers up to forty minutes prior to their appointment time.

How to select the treatment that is best for you?

Our knowledgeable Spa Receptionists will help you plan the perfect day or treatment and will answer any questions regarding specialized treatments or ideal sequence of treatments.

Special health considerations?

Before booking your appointment, please make our Spa Receptionists aware of any special conditions you may have, such as pregnancy, high blood pressure, skin allergies or other physical considerations.

What to wear and bring?

We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing that can be placed in a locker during your treatments. A robe, slippers and a personal locker will be provided when you check in. We offer a full line of personal amenities, such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shave cream, body lotion and hairspray for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy

The service you select is reserved for you. Please notify The Sanctuary at least 24-hours in advance if you wish to cancel or change your appointment. Unless we receive 24-hour advance notice, you will be charged 100% of the fee for your reserved services. Spa hours, services and prices are subject to change. Group services require a 7-day advance cancellation notice.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards for The Sanctuary Spa are available for spouses, parents, friends, teachers, business colleagues, or anyone else who deserves to be pampered. Gift Cards are available in any dollar amount, so your recipients may choose the combination of services they prefer. Our Spa Receptionists can offer suggestions for the most popular Sanctuary packages and can help you decide on Gift Card amounts. You may also consider adding a percentage for optional gratuities.
